Greetings,

It is my honor and privilege to begin serving this community as the Hartland Lakeside Superintendent. I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with all of you. 

Since being selected to serve as your superintendent, and in the first few days on the job, I have spent time visiting Hartland and the surrounding area to better acquaint myself with our schools, our staff, and community members. I have held meetings with District staff, building principals and school staff, and have participated in my first Board Meeting. Your former Superintendent, Dr. Nancy Nikolay has helped lay a strong foundation. I thank her for the good work she has done in Hartland over the past 10 years.

As we move toward the start of another school year, I look forward to working collaboratively with the school board, staff, parents and community to continue improving the exceptional educational experience available to the children in our schools. I’m committed to ensuring all students have the ability to reach their full potential while becoming productive members of an ever-changing global society. I truly believe the greater Hartland Lakeside community and district are poised for continuous positive growth, and I am thrilled to be able to be involved in that progress.

While we anticipate positive growth, we acknowledge there are challenges that lie ahead. There are areas where we can improve. As our team works together to address all challenges, our district leadership teams, our dedicated teachers and school staff will always keep what’s best for our students and families at the forefront. Our focus will be to ensure every child is served and well-prepared for success.
