Speech & Language Services

Speech and Language Therapy is one of the many Special Education programs offered by the Hartland-Lakeside School District. Children beginning at age three may benefit from individualized intervention when there is a delay in articulation, phonology (speech sound and sound system development), understanding and use of language, stuttering, and vocal quality.

We have four Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) on staff along with one Speech Therapy Assistant. In addition to Speech Therapy, we offer several programs to support parents and to help children increase communication effectiveness. If you have questions or concerns regarding a child’s speech/language development please contact your school office.
