Battle of the Books is an area-wide reading program available to Hartland South fourth and fifth graders. Students voluntarily form themselves into teams of three students each. They read as many books as possible from the current battle list until the battles begin in the spring. Teams then compete against each other, earning points by giving the title and author to answer questions about the books. The two top scoring teams compete against each other for trophies in May.
The 2009-2010 list is List C. It is available in PDF version below, as well as in the Hartland South library and the Hartland Public Library.
