Charter School Registration Process

1. Registration forms will be available at Hartland North, Hartland South, North Shore Middle School, and the District Office.
2. All registration forms will be date/time stamped as they are received.
3. Complete the form and submit to the district office either in person or by mail starting February 1st - March 26, 2010:

   Hartland/Lakeside School District
   800 E. North Shore Drive
   Hartland, WI 53029
4. If you are open enrolling to the district, please follow these steps:
   - Submit an open enrollment form electronically or paper to the
   Hartland/Lakeside School District during the period of February 1 - 19th by 4:00 p.m. The DPI link is listed below.
   - Please specify which charter school you want to attend: Green LIFE or Hartland School of Community Learning
   - The school district will provide notice of approval or denial by
   April 9, 2010
   - The school district will provide notice of charter school assignment
   by May 14, 2010
   - Parents must notify the open enrollment district of its intent to attend by June 11, 2010
5. If the registrations exceed the limit of students for each charter school, there will be a lottery scheduled for March 31st and waiting lists created.
