Tutors

Occasionally parents want to make their own arrangements for tutorial assistance for their child.  Although we specifically do not encourage this we certainly feel this is a parent prerogative and do not discourage it.  To assist a parent who may be looking for a qualified tutor to augment their child's education, we have compiled a list of individuals who are available for private tutoring.  These individuals are either certified teachers or have a college degree with experience as a tutor.  Some of them have specific areas of experience or expertise, and some have preferences regarding the type of tutoring they would do.  To our knowledge, only those who have worked in our school district as a substitute or a teacher have undergone background checks.

We prefer to leave it up to the parents to make their own financial arrangements with the tutor.  Their fees may vary although, if contacted, we have an idea on what we would consider the going rate.  Good luck.
